Marcy Croffy, LCSW
has more than 30 years’ experience as a social worker and facilitator for change within individuals and organizations in professional and volunteer systems. She has worked with diverse populations in rural community mental health, government and non-profit settings across the United States. She is skilled at networking and collaboration and interfaces with various levels of agency personnel to provide clients improved access to services. In her current position at Boise VAMC Caregiver Support Program, Marcy engages caregivers in education/training on factors contributing to caregiver burnout and how to better manage resultant stress.
Stacey Lewis, LCSW
has been a social worker for 23 years. She currently works in the Caregiver Support Program at the Boise VA Medical Center. Her professional experience also includes working in inpatient and outpatient medical settings and with adults who have severe and persistent mental illness. Through her professional experience, Stacey has been provided with opportunities to assist individuals and their caregivers. In her personal life, Stacey is a wife and mother to three sons. When one of her sons was born with liver disease, she found herself on a health care journey which provided her with a unique perspective of what it means to be a caregiver and the impact caregiving has on the individuals who provide care.
