Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias program

The Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) Program continues to increase awareness of brain health, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementias across the state, while expanding collaboration and tracking of strategic plan activities outlined in the 2023-2028 ADRD Strategic Plan for Idaho. The program represents 27,000 Idahoans with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis, countless Idahoans who have dementia, 65,000 family caregivers who care for someone with ADRD, and all Idahoans who want to know how to reduce their risk of Alzheimer’s disease or dementia through a public health approach.

The Idaho Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program

The Idaho Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program supports a spectrum of services, from infrastructure-building services like quality assurance and policy development, to gap-filling services of direct health care services for children and youth with special healthcare needs. The MCH Program has several program priorities based on a five-year needs assessment related to the following populations: women, infants, children, adolescents, and children and youth with special healthcare needs. Idaho’s MCH Program is committed to improving the health and well-being of mothers, infants, and children, including children and youth with special health care needs, and their families.
