November is National Family Caregiver’s month and we are joining Caregiver Action Network in asking you to share what it’s like to be a caregiver AND the other roles you play in your life. It can be your profession, another family role, or a hobby – a passion or identity that enriches your life. Some examples:
· I am a teacher and I care for my dad with Sickle Cell disease.
· I am a volunteer firefighter and I care for my wife with Parkinson’s.
· I lead a local book club and care for my son with Diabetes.
Submit the short form and you’ll receive a social media graphic to use in the month of November. ICA will share your image on our content channels. One of our bloggers may follow-up with you to feature you in an ICA blog during the month of November and award you a Caregiving for Caregivers kit from our friends at Family Caregiver Navigator!

I work at the local university and I care for my mother who is on oxygen and is close to deciding not to drive anymore.
I completely agree with what you have written. I hope this post could reach more people as this was truly an interesting post.
