Green Apple Project: Autism Caregivers Support Group – Lewiston
A support group for caregivers of those with autism to gather for a moderated discussion and resource sharing that meets twice a month on the second and fourth Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Attendees receive complimentary dinner and childcare services. Parent/Guardian(s) are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before the start time to provide our Childcare Specialists with essential information about your child, including their day, to prepare for any possible issues. After the meeting, parents receive a report on their child’s care during the group session.
RSVP is necessary at least two days before each meeting to ensure we have adequate staff and make the necessary arrangements for dinner and childcare. However, we understand the challenges that may arise in planning and will try our best to accommodate late RSVPs. Our primary aim is to maintain a low staff-to-child ratio to provide adequate care.
