The Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program (IVLP) provides a safety net for low-income individuals and families in Idaho who require civil legal services and cannot afford to pay for them. If you are low-income and need a lawyer for a civil matter, IVLP may be able to help. Using a statewide network of volunteer attorneys, IVLP provides free civil legal assistance through advice and consultation, brief legal service and representation.

Services Include: Elder Law, Disability Advocacy, Special Needs Planning, Estate Planning, Medicaid and Long-Term Care Planning, Settlement Planning, Conservatorship, Guardianship, and Probate and Trust Administration.

Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc. is a non-profit law firm that does not charge for their services. Their offices cannot assist with criminal matters. They can assist with the following matters:

 Legal assistance to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and
stalking.
 Legal assistance to seniors age 60 and older and vulnerable adults (including fraud)
 Housing
 Legal assistance to Tribal members
 All low-income fraud victims, including those under 60, in the 5th, 6th, and 7th Judicial Districts

MTM is Idaho’s non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker. They arrange rides for eligible Medicaid members throughout the state. Visit their website or call them to set up your rides for Medicaid appointments.

The HUD-VASH is a collaborative program between HUD and the VA that combines HUD housing vouchers with VA supportive services to help Veterans who are homeless and their families find and sustain permanent housing.
